Spanning 1,000 square metres, the project involves the transformation of a fragmented, multi-part ground floor within a multi-storey residential building in Fulya, Istanbul, into a cohesive office environment. The programme includes a reception area, meeting rooms of varying sizes, shared workspaces, executive offices, a kitchen, terrace areas and ancillary service spaces. Positioned at the centre of the reception zone, the welcome desk adopts a deliberately understated presence.

Rather than conventional branding, it is followed by a “identity wall” that carries no signage. This surface is composed of laminated timber elements arranged in differing directions, offering a subtle reference to the over-and-under weave of fabric.
While the overall design language is calm, it is also quietly assertive. One of the project’s defining principles is the client’s adoption of a so-called “Clean Desk Policy.” The brief called for an interior free from visible computers or personal desk accessories. From what employees wear and consume, to the laptops they use after hours and the charging of mobile devices, the intention was to ensure that nothing outside the designed environment remains on view. To achieve this, both fixed and mobile furniture were developed with integrated solutions that anticipate a wide range of use scenarios.
In line with Urbanjobs’ design approach and the specific demands of the project, all furniture—aside from technical seating—was custom-designed and produced, down to the door handles.
